Disc Golf Pro Tour Adjusts 2026 All-Star Plans
The Disc Golf Pro Tour is revising its 2026 All-Star strategy by replacing the previously planned pre-season mixed doubles exhibition with a DGPT Pro-Am experience. This new format will feature All-Star players and aims to enhance the recognition of All-Stars throughout the year. The Pro-Am event will occur on February 25 at Olympus Disc Golf Course, just before the season opener at the Supreme Flight Open. It will adopt an 18-hole best-shot quads format, pairing one MPO and one FPO professional with two amateur players per team. All-Star players will have priority registration and receive an appearance bonus, while remaining spots will be filled based on the 2025 DGPT World Standings.
The Pro-Am will accommodate 18 teams, allowing for 36 amateur participants, who can register via the Supreme Flight Open ticket page. Additionally, Gold Pass holders for the Supreme Flight Open will also have access to the Pro-Am, subject to availability.
This adjustment reflects a broader initiative to celebrate All-Star status throughout the season, including dedicated media features and promotional opportunities for All-Stars. The Tour is committed to exploring diverse ways to honor these players while ensuring engaging experiences for fans.
